Together with parents, our motivated students, dedicated teachers and passionate staff make Paideia the unique and special place we believe it to be.

A Note About Our Founders Dr. Ted and Dr. Johnnie Seago
Dr. Johnnie Seago founded the Paideia Classical School in 1988 where over 3500 students have attended in the last 34 years. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and English from Lamar University.
She and her husband Dr. Ted Seago live in Willis, Texas, and attend Restoration Church where Ted serves as the Connections Pastor. They have been married for 43 years and enjoy spending time with their 21 grandchildren.
Dr. Ted Seago earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Lamar University and earned his Doctor of Education degree from the University of Houston. He serves as the Executive Director of the Family Education Foundation which oversees the Paideia Classical Schools.
The Seagos are often conference speakers, mastermind group facilitators and coaches with the John Maxwell Team. Lifelong learners, together they are passionate about equipping the next generation of Christian leaders.
