Early Learning
Our Early Learning Program is an extension of Paideia Classical School. Our EL program provides a safe, nurturing, and focused learning environment for our potty trained students, 3-5 years of age. We are intentional in laying a firm foundation in social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development. Learning is driven by a recognition of each child’s uniqueness, a quality curriculum, and by developing loving relationships with our students and their parents.
Format of Early Learning
- Quality Early Learning education is well balanced. Our program balances development in basic language, mathematics skills, and the opportunity to grow in social and emotional development.
- Children require patience and guidance from their adults to learn how to process their thoughts in a healthy way. Developing self-regulation can occur in the classroom setting.
- The opportunity to express curiosity in new experiences can help develop children in the skill of concentration as they become socially developed.
EL Program Highlights
- Themes that are literature based and academically sound.
- Concepts that are presented through objectives in a way that naturally develops academic development in basic language, pre-reading, writing, math skills, and social and emotional development.
- Fine and gross motor skills development.
- Experiences are primarily within the Early Learning community as well as some experiences within the greater Paideia Classical School community are available.
